The California Baby Super Sensitive Diaper Rash Ointment is a famously gentle, award-winning formula designed to soothe and protect delicate baby skin. This ultra-mild ointment is free from added fragrance, common allergens, and harsh chemicals, making it ideal for babies with sensitive or easily irritated skin.

This improved formula is now 100% bio-based (excluding zinc oxide). By removing water from the formula, preservatives are no longer needed—an important feature because preservatives can sometimes irritate already sensitive skin.
Vitamin-grade zinc oxide works to treat and prevent diaper rash while purified lanolin forms a protective barrier that helps shield the skin from moisture and irritation. Coconut oil and licorice extract are added to help soothe and comfort sore, delicate skin.
The ointment is USDA Certified 100% Bio-Based (excluding zinc oxide), meaning the formula is made primarily from plant-derived ingredients along with ultra-purified lanolin sourced from sheep’s wool.
Like the rest of the Super Sensitive collection, this ointment contains no added fragrance and is recommended for newborns, individuals with extremely sensitive skin, scent sensitivities, and even during pregnancy.
