Preparation Options:
With Infant Formula
Prepare 170ml of formula. Stir in 18g (3–4 tbsp) cereal. Cool to 37°C (98.6°F) before serving.
With Cow’s Milk
Boil 100ml whole milk + 100ml water. Cool to 50°C (122°F). Add 25g (5 tbsp) cereal. Serve at 37°C (98.6°F).
With Breast Milk
Warm 130ml breast milk (do not exceed 40°C / 104°F). Stir in 25g cereal and mix well.
Dairy-Free Option
Boil 200ml water, cool to 50°C (122°F). Stir in 25g cereal and add 1 tsp edible oil (canola, sunflower, hemp, or olive oil).
With Fruit or Vegetable Purée
Mix 20g cereal with 100g fruit purée. Add 1 tsp edible oil and 90ml cooled boiled water. Adjust consistency as needed.
• Add Vitamin C-rich fruit when using cow’s milk to support iron absorption.
