How to Prepare HiPP Porridge
For Infants (0-6 Months)
- Prepare 170ml of First Infant Milk Formula (Stage PRE or Stage 1).
- Pour into a bowl and stir in 18g of cereal (3-4 tablespoons).
- Let cool to 37°C (98.6°F) before serving.
For Babies (4+ Months)
- With Cow’s Milk or Breast Milk: Mix 25g of porridge (5 tablespoons) with warm milk and let cool to 37°C (98.6°F).
- Dairy-Free Option: Stir 25g of porridge (5 tablespoons) into 200ml of warm water, adding 1 teaspoon of edible oil (canola, sunflower, hemp, or olive oil) for essential fats.
For Dairy-Free Porridge with Fruit or Vegetable Purée
- Mix 20g of cereal (4 tablespoons) with 100g of fruit or vegetable purée.
- Add 1 teaspoon of edible oil and 90ml of warm water to reach desired consistency.
- Alternatively, use 160g of warm vegetable-based baby food and 2 teaspoons of edible oil.
For Older Infants (6+ Months)
- Prepare 150ml of boiled water, let cool to 50°C (122°F).
- Add 5 scoops of Follow-on Infant Milk Formula (Stage 2 or 3) and mix with 18g of porridge (3-4 tablespoons).
