The Haakaa Butterfly Nipple Shield is a one-piece silicone nipple shield with an extended nipple head that puts a little space between your nipple and baby's mouth. The symmetrical butterfly shape and ridged outer edge make it easier to hold while feeding. Includes a protective storage case.

Haakaa designed this shield for parents whose babies bite down or pull away, and for flat, inverted or sore nipples. The shield suctions onto the breast so you are not holding it in place through the whole feed, and the nipple head is shaped so baby can keep a natural sucking rhythm.
It is made from 100% soft silicone, BPA/PVC/phthalate-free per Haakaa, and can be boiled or steam-sterilized. The butterfly cut-out leaves more skin exposed than a full round shield.
