Preparation Steps:
- Boil fresh drinking water, let it cool to about 40°C (104°F), and pour 2/3 of the required water into the bottle.
- For accurate dosing, level off the enclosed measuring scoop on the scraper. Use only the enclosed scoop.
- Add the required amount of powder to the bottle. Store the scoop in the scoop holder in the lid.
- Close the bottle and shake vigorously up and down for about 10 seconds, then add the remaining water and shake vigorously again.
- Open the bottle and attach the teat. Check the feeding temperature (about 37°C / 98.6°F) before feeding.
Important Notes:
- Exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months is ideal. Like every follow-on formula, Aptamil Pronutra 3 should not be used as a breast-milk substitute in the first 6 months; follow-on formula is intended only after 6 months as part of a mixed diet. Aptamil Pronutra 3 is suitable from the 10th month and can be given following any other follow-on formula. If you have questions about when to introduce it, please consult your pediatrician.
- Follow the preparation instructions exactly. Improper preparation and storage can lead to health problems through the growth of unwanted germs.
- Prepare each bottle fresh and feed immediately; do not reuse leftover formula. Clean bottle, teat and ring thoroughly.
- Do not warm formula in the microwave (risk of overheating).
- Dental health: frequent or prolonged contact with carbohydrate-containing foods can cause tooth decay. Do not leave the bottle with your child for continuous sucking.
- Always reseal the opened pack well. Once opened, use within 4 weeks and store in a dry place, protected from heat.
1 level scoop (4.7 g) of powder per 30 ml of water.

Numbers of bottles and volumes are guide values and may vary individually. Babies need about 5 meals a day; with each complementary-food meal, one bottle feed should be replaced.
